ADI Courses

ADI CoursesThe ADI courses we offer are in 3 parts and all 3 have to be successfully completed.

ADI Part 1

Part 1 is a theory test comprising of a computer based hazard pereception test and a multiple choice set of questions.

There are lots of study guides in the form of CD-Roms, DVD's and books in order to prepare yourself for this test and we recommend our trainee ADI's learn this way at their own pace. Once you feel you are ready for the test, you can book it at the nearest test centre. Please bear in mind that you will need to pass both parts of the test in order to move onto ADI Part 2.

We offer free help via phone and email for this part of the test.

After passing ADI Part 1 you have 2 years in which to complete and pass parts 2 and 3.

ADI Part 2

Part 2 is a practical test of your driving ability.

The requirements and expectations for this are far higher than that of a standard driving test. You need to be able to display a high level of driving competence and is similar to an Advanced Driving Test. In order to pass you are only allowed up to 6 minor faults and no major faults. The test is much longer than the standard driving test and last approximately 1 hour.

You must be able to read a car number plate from a distance of 27.5 meters

ADI Part 3

The test is in 2 parts, each of which lasts about half an hour and you must pass both parts on the same test.

The first part sees you taking the role of the instructor and the examiner taking the role of a new learner driver who has never driven a car before or and has very limited knowledge. The second part see's the examiner taking the role of a learner driver who is at a standard where they are ready for their driving test.

You must past both parts at the same time in order to pass the ADI Part 3 exam.
